| Hi Ladies, I was wondering if any of you would ever buy/wear a used engagement ring? My friend has gotten divorced and she doesn't know what to do with her engagement ring or wedding bands...she doesn't want to pawn them because she knows the pawn shop will rip her off and charge someone else a fortune to buy them. She is thinking of trying to sell them privately so someone else can enjoy her beautiful ring, but pay less (she doesn't expect to get what was paid for them). I just thought I would ask your opinions as I gave her mine but that is not much of a discussion with just one persons opinion. Thanks!

No, I would never-too much bad karma. I also won't buy any items from a bride who has called off her wedding for the same reason.

| My friend had her stones removed from her e-ring and re-set into a different style of ring... she figured, it was her ring, and after she got divorced it was her present to herself. So now she has a lovely dinner ring to wear! I wouldn't wear one from somebody else, either, so I think her idea was a good one.

Yes, I wouldn't mind. I think some of the older estate rings that you can find at auctions are a lot cheaper, and if that's what FH decided, I wouldn't mind in the slightest. We don't need luck. lol

| I wouldn't She should reset it, I have a beautiful right hand ring that was my old ering reset. He and I were not ment to be but no way I was going to let a beautiful diamond go to waste, so FH (who was friends with exfh before his problems) had the stone reset for me and it's very nice
