I very rarely take it off, but I am sure when I start gardening, it'll be coming off. Messy stuff = no ring....but otherwise i sleep, eat, shower, work etc in my ring. i love it so i dont want to take it off

| I wear it all the time except when cleaning (including dishes), doing something messy or showering. My engagement ring is an eternity band (love solitaries but not for me) so I am always afraid of getting things stuck it it (so many little claws!!!!!!!).

The diamond on mine is very high up so I remove it when I am doing housework so I can wear gloves without the ring putting a hole in the gloves..hahaha!

I take it off for housework and the shower!! In the summer and on the honeymoon I will take it off to swim!!

| Thanks for your responses ladies. I was curious as I find I have mine off when at home and doing messy stuff. I hate the thought of getting raw meat stuck under the diamonds...YUCK! I also will have a semieternity band as my wedding ring so I don't know if the same would apply as the diamond sit a lot lower and though my ering is not a solitaire I still take it off. My mom freaks when she sees me without it on. Continuation - How important is having an ering to you? Would you have excepted a proposal without a ring??? JJF

I wear it all the time, but now I've been taking it off while I sleep because my fingers swell up and the ring gets so tight on my finger in the morning! I hate that!!
