When should you send out the shower thank you's? What about the hosts thank you's?

| The showers I've been to ... we got a thankyou card as we walked through the receiving line. You signed the guestbook and you were handed a thankyou card! Some brides wait til after the shower to send them out ... but I would think within a month is acceptable. No thank-you card from last august .. wow .. either it got lost in the mail, or she's really slow on sending them out or .. heaven forbid, isnt sending thankyou's at all.

about a month.. that's what i've noticed from other shower's that i've been to.

| My cousin just had her shower about a couple of weeks ago, we are from a small town, so at the end of the shower she thanked her Maid of Honor and her aunts for hosting the shower and thanked the guests for the wonderful gifts, and explained that she was going to put a "thank-you" in the paper for everyone, and make a donation in honor of her grandmother (forget which place).
