My parents are in the process of applying to be foster parents and I and FH will be their support team. Then hopefully one day FH and I will do it ourselves....we have talked about it and definitely interested. They need homes desperatly for infants right now. My Aunt is also a foster parent and has been doing it for 20 years. Her latest infant she recieved at 2 days old and is now almost 2....... she has filed for an open adoption. Fostering is rewarding for both the child and the foster parents...we need more good homes! Fostering is such a rewarding thing for both the parents and the child. I am glad to hear that your family has taken an active interest in fostering children.** I am sending you and your family a virtual hug just to say thank you on behalf of all the kids that are in foster care and those like me that were in it when they needed a safe haven!!
