It does.. especially in your face.. it causes the small viens to swell and break.  I love them too.. and still take them.. I'll take the chance.. but I don't wash my face with hot water!

I wash my face with cool water... but I think I'll take the chance too..I can't stop my hot showers (My hands and feet are always cold...and I feel so warm in the shower! haha)

Thats good.. I don't blame you!  I do have a question tho.. Do you really use baby shampoo in your hair?

A beauty tip that my grandmother gave me was to always wear brown mascara, black can sometimes be too harsh even if you have dark hair.

Yes, baby shampoos are gentle cleansers...they work for me!  I don't wear ANY products in my hair..so at the end of the day I don't have to scrub my hair to get all kinds of products out!  And my hair is always softer after I use a baby shampoo vs. any other.

I mix my moisturizer, with an SPF in it around 15, it's Dove daily moisturizer, with my foundation.  I know sounds weird huh, but I mix equal amounts of them on a flat plastic surface.  It makes the foundation so soft, and luxurious, it's the best thing, and no caking, no matter how much I put on.  Plus it makes the morning routine really quick.

I know my mother dips her foundation sponge in water, and then dips it in the foundation before applying it to her face... it makes the foundation so smooth... But I haven't heard of mixing it with moisturizer.  I'll tell her to try it. (I don't wear foundation)  Thanks for the tip Heather!

A few more tips:

Set eye makeup with a light dusting of loose powder - this will help absorb any moisture that may cause eye makeup to melt.

Makeup brushes can harbor lots of dirt and bacteria - frequent washing can keep them - and your face - clean and healthy.  You can use shampoo to wash your brushes, just make sure you rinse well.   I can see a HUGE difference in my makeup application the day after I wash my brushes.
