| As some of you know my sister, who is supposed to be my Matron of Honor, might not be making it my fast-approaching April 29th wedding. She recently got married to an American Soldier and is living in the US. She has applied for her greencard and also had to apply for a travel permit (don't ask me why she needs that-that's just the US Homeland Security and US Gov't for ya!) It still hasn't come, so I've had to come up with a back up plan. Two of my friends have offered to be back up BM's for me. I will promote my current BM to Matron of Honor and then this Saturday I will take my 2 friends shopping and whoever we can find an off-the rack pink dress for first, will be my "back up bridesmaid" We are making a sad situation fun!! I've already bought some things for the head table-nice sparkly frames for the placecards, jewellry for the girls, and ordered bouquets for 3 attendants. So I really don't want to go to just 2-plus my other sis who is in my WP is handicapped,and then all the work would fall on my 7.5 months pregnant BM. Thank goodness my 2 friends are kind and sweet enough to volunteer as my back up BM's.!! (thanks girls!) Ok-so here's my question. I'm living in Oakville and wondered if you girls would be able to recommend some good dress shops where I can take the girls to hopefully get one pink gown off the rack. I don't need the same designer, same dress, or same shade of pink-my two other girls are wearing the same color but different fabrics and different dress styles. Thanks so much for your help!!

| I remember seeing off the rack BM at Tina & Chris' (sp?) in Scarborough (Parkway Mall). It is of your way but you could probably give them a call and see if they have any left. I really hope your sister can make it to your wedding....

I really hope your sister can make it to your wedding.... they have off the rack dresses now> Hmm.. taking my weddnig dress there for alterations.. but that would be a good place to go... maybe.. hm.. anywhere where there might be prom dresse, Reitmans, Fairweather, Laura, Laura petites...
