Can anyone recommend a good cake maker in the Windsor area? I am looking for a plain 3-tier fondant cake for approx. $200. Does that sound reasonable?

| it sounds reasonable to me but my baker in Windsor was a bit expensive. the cake was very tasty though. i had a 3 tier (fairly large) but it was about 450$. he is a guy that my DH used to work with and is associated with the catering hall we used and he has an excellent reputation so we just went with him for those reasons so i didn't really shop around. he is called "Signature Pastries by Wayne" and the guy we dealt with was Wayne himself, just in case you see him listed anywhere you'll have an idea of the cost. something to keep in mind though... unless you serve your cake as the meal's dessert, i wouldn't recommend ordering a piece per person. i ordered just over a piece per person and i can't even begin to describe how much cake we had left over. only about 1/4 or 1/3 was eaten. good thing it was tasty. our families were eating it for days!

| HI Suzy... The price Tricky gave you is about average for this area we found... we decided to do away with the big wedding cake, as we will be having a candy buffet instead. We will have a slab cake in the kitchen to serve as dessert.

| We are also having the candy buffet, but I've had my heart set on having a cupcake wedding cake since I first saw a pic of it. Anyone know who to go to for that? Who in Windsor makes cupcakes? I would make them myself, but we are expecting on inviting around 150-200 ppl and that may be very time comsuming, and stressful to do, especially the days before the wedding.
