okay so I'm trying to put together a timeline for my MC's so they know what is going to happen for the reception. Just a question when the bridal party enters the reception do people still say a little something about each person or does that not happen anymore?? I've seen it done a few times but it was a while back. Cause it will be us entering , then grace, dinner, dessert and speeches will start during dessert they will be introduced but do they need to emphasize on that ...what is everyone else doing?? or any ideas would help too?

Married for 3 months already!!

I think it's completely up to you.  If you would like to have something said I like the idea, but if just saying their names is enough in my opinion.

Lisa I've only ever seen the MC introduce each couple as they come in; never much about them personally... But whatever you want to do is fine!

I'm having my MC introduce each person ... for example:

Jane doe  Flower girl and cousin of the bride

Jane doe2 Junior bridesmaid and niece of the bride

John doe Best man and brother of the groom.

Each person will be introduced before me and FH and they will walk in and stand at their place at the head table. FH and I will walk in after being introduced and also go directly to the head table.

The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness.

Making the decision to have a child-it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.

The mother's heart is the child's schoolroom.

To understand a mother's love, bear your own children.

Mother is the name for God on the lips& in the hearts of little children.

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.

MrsMTobe...when I was a BM for my cousin's wedding last year that's what they did. They had the BM's walk in with the GM's and then the MC announced how each of the BM's and GM's were related or involved with the Bride and Groom!

Ours will be comming in to music (fun upbeat song) and our MC will just be intruducing each couple by name.  That's it.  I will put some information in the programs about each person, and in our speech.
