I'm having my ceremony in a church and then the reception at a golf club (both in south etobicoke)  IF it rains (praying it doesn't) where is a good place to take indoor pictures?!?!  (Any indoor gardens/other beautiful indoor facilities that would allow pictures?)

Hi Maddy,

Around Etobicoke you can go to the Mississauga Civic Centre (905) 896-5000.  That's more of an architectural place.  And there is also Woodbine Shopping Centre (416)674-5437.  It's a mall, but it has a an indoor amusement park, and it looks awesome on pictures and video.  A friend of mine did their pictures there a while back and they actually closed off certain areas of the mall to allow for uninterrupted photo taking.

hope this helps

Check out the greenhouse at Centennial Park.... it's one of the closest greenhouses to your area.  My FH and I checked it out a few weeks ago.... it's quite nice inside, but just not very big.  We're also trying to find an indoor location in the GTA b/c our wedding is in the winter.  Not too much luck so far

I had my photos done at Allan Gardens.  Here's the link to the City of Toronto web site, with all their gardens and grenhouses.  Don't forget that some colleges and universities have greenhouses, and they'll often rent them out... or drive around to see if there's a restaurant/inn/hotel with a nice spot for photos.  Places will usually rent out some space, especially if it's not their busy time of day.

I paid $40/hour for Allan Gardens.

I know a beautiful place for pictures and that is at Humber College North Campus which is near Hwy 27 and Finch.  When i went to school there i used to take walks in the gardens.  They have beautiful flowers, ponds...very beautiful scenery.  Apparently lots of people get there pictures done there.....i would check it out.
