I was asked by FH if we could honeymoon in Alberta as he has always dreamed of going there and I figured sure since it doesn't matter where we are as long as we are together right? But now I have no idea as to where to stay or what to do when we are there. Any hints would be appreciated.

I've been there 2 years ago. It's beautiful.

Banff is a really nice place to go to.  You should check out staying at Lake Louise.  There's a hotel there, i think it's Fairmont Lake Louise....i'm sure you'll find it if you do a search.

He said there was a resort that was like a stay in the caribbean, and I would love to go there. As well I was looking for any hot tourist spots to hit.

Hey JennAnn,

I'm from alberta & for a honeymoon my top reccomendations would be Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff and Kananaskis. It depends if you want to rent a car & travel around, or find a nice place & stay there. They are all really gorgeous places and there are plenty of amazing spots to stay in as well. Also lots to see & do for couples. It was the first trip that FH & I took together! Good luck with you research!! PM me if you have any Q's.

I second the above   Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff and Kananaskis are the best places to go if you're wanting to be in the mountains
