Okay

So I got a phone call tonight asking for me but what will be my married name ??? Kelly Brown about me suposivly filling out a survey for Fresh Air Soluations which I have NO recollection of doing and said that I will recieve a FREE GIFT and was wondering if I owuld be home in the evening to accept my FREE GIFT and I asjed the represtitive if the person coming to my house would be selling me anything. She assured me that no -- noone is showing up with a vaccumm and that this person is only giving me my gift. There are a few to choose from so that is why I have to be there so... around 8:30 a young girl shows up at my door with a air purifier in hand. When she entered my home I automatically asked her if she was gonna try to sell me that item. She said well yeah Im gonna show you how it works and I said I was told that I would just be recieving a gift and she said oh yes you will get that too so with my finacee in toe she said her shpeel. She seemed like a nice girl and then asked if we would be interested and I asked how much they cost and she told me $1100.00 We proceeded to explain that no we are not intertested and we apolized for wasting her time she then said thats okay I get paid to talk. As long as you let me in the door I get paid.

Anyways she got to my FREE GIFT which she handed me a certificate explaining that we were offered TWO FREE ROUND TRIP TICKETS TO HAWAII OR 4DAY AND 3 NIGHT CRUISE FROM FT LAUDERDALE TO THE BAHAMAS.

I was blown away... she told me that she already did the cruise and so on and so on

When she left we talked about it for a few minutes and it just doesnt seem right tickets worth 2300.00 for free when teh product she was selling was half the price and we didnt even have to but the product so I did some investigating.

Tried to look up the Travel Agency posted on the certificate and nothing came up even close on the internet , even checked canada 411 and nothing. So I tired to find the phoen number for the Air company, which has an address on the cirtificate and again nothing came up.. VERY FISHY Id say. Tomorrow I am calling the BBB and my newspaper

What a waste of my time and taking advantage of poeple of all sorts

JUST A WARNING

The company is called

Fresh Air Solutions and the "travel agency" is K & E International Inc. Travel Agency

Just be careful if you get a phone call

The weird thing is that they knew my name and they knew that I has asthma ?????????? How did they get this information???? so weird

To work in marketing you must have no soul.  That's what I think.

(sorry, marketing workers, I'm sure some of you are fine!)

Just curious, tho, did it say how you were supposed to go about claiming your tickets?  By calling the "travel agent"??

Yeah I was suppose to circle the option that I wanted and send it in 90 days before I was planning my trip

For the poor person who actually would have done this would have made a huge mistake and have no tickets I suppose

Maybe they got your information from a different survey you did? Sometimes companies sell your information to oher companies if it benefits them

i have had similar situations happen to me... except that they never came into my house. I just usually got it in the mail. Phone the number on the piece of paper and see what you have to do. If they ask for your credit card number or bank account information then put the red flag up.
