| 3 weeks out we find out the airline/travel operator cancelled our flights! We were booked to leave Toronto on Monday May 15th after our Saturday wedding for a week in Cuba! Now all their flights to Cuba are on Saturdays! How are brides supposed to leave on Saturdays for their honeymoons! Just needed to vent! Since we are starting new jobs right before the wedding and they had kindly given us the time off for when we are booked... I have no idea what to do now  I guess we have to wait until we start, and bring it up then, then try to book something VERY last minute.

| That is sooooooo not cool!!!! Which company was this? Why? They should be reimbursing you with a similar holiday on the same day, right?? I once got stranded in Rome because the airline decided to cancell my return flight altogether without giving me another and without letting me know. I just showed up at airport...and no flight!

call your travel agent, you can get some GREAT prices booking last minute!!! you could end up with an even better destination and hotel this way!! Take a deep breathe and relax you have plenty of time!!!now get on that phone and book a new honeymoon,lol.Think cuba for your first anniversary(tell fh you are expecting this lol) good luck and take it easy, remember you could have found this out next month at least you still have time

I agree..sometimes the more last minute the better! Sometimes it even works just to say "I have this much money, send me somewhere warm and pretty...NOW!"

| From what I know when we went to Cuba last August the only flights from Canada to Cuba are on Saturdays or Sundays. This is what we were told by a travel agent as well as many friends who have travelled to Cuba. It sucks that your flight got cancelled but can't you ask your TA to try and find you a Sunday flight? I hope that you end up getting a wonderful vacation but this seems to be very unprofessional.

| You can book through an american company and leave out of buffalo, that is what we are doing because of the dates are not working from pearson. http://www.priceline.com Hope this helps
