I love them b/c they match our Grape & Wine Theme.  They actually look like oversized wine glasses, and they'll be filled with the purple water and a floating candle.

Hi guys! I'm new to this talkboard..pretty cool..nice to get ideas from other brides..makes me feel less nuts!!

I'm doing a centerpeice with a pine dark wood box- with a Lantern in the middle- and greenery and hypercumbian berries around the lantern.

My whole theme is "harvesty"...fall wedding...

Absolutely LOVING married life

Ours is a mosaic  thingy with a candle inside with roses scattered around it. I'll try to find a picture of it. FH didn't like the idea of high centre pieces, although this weekend when he saw what they would look like he fell in love with the idea-but too late...I felt like "killing" him when he said this!!! You could imagine why!!

It will look like this.  We have rented pedestal fruit bowls that will sit on mirrors and be surrounded by 3 tealight holders.  Since the wedding is late October it will be dark and everything will be lit by the candles and the big chandler in the middle of the ballroom.  I am so excited.  We have a local farm giving us a deal on fresh cranberries they get in at that time so they will be nice and red.
