| Help! I'm trying to help out my MOH with ideas for bridal shower favours/prizes and I'm drawing a huge blank! What is everyone else doing?

| Okay for bridal shower favors - One of my friends did a bag of candy - the other went to the dollar store and bought, a coffee mug, a grocery list pad, and pack of gum, and a pen. As for game prizes - I went to Ikea and bought vases, and candles, and plants as gifts, the ladies loved them, they told the bride they were the best gifts ever. Us ladies in the wedding party bought the game gifts as we were hosting the shower for the bride, and the bride bought the favours as a thank you to the guests for coming.

| I ended up being short on time, so I went to Kitchen stuff plus and bought shooter glasses and divided them into 2's (came in a box of 6) and gave those out as the favours.....oh, and bud vases for the older women. If I had had more time, i would have ordered those personalized tea bags and given mugs.
July 7, 2006 was the big day! 138 - came and enjoyed the party! President of the Crazy-MIL-Club.

| Do you have a theme for your wedding? How many favors do you need for the shower and what is your budget? Would you prefer something edible? or something they can keep and use?

I posted this once before to sorry to those of you who have already read it but for my cousin's shower she gave out those cute little glycerin soaps and attached a little tag that said "from my shower to yours." I thought that was really cute.
