| I had a sneaking suspicion that there might be a shower when I visited my family out east on the weekend, but it was eliminated when my mother illuded that it was she that bought the items off my registry. So last Saturday in Stittsville, I actually was surprised!  And little did I know, I actually carried 2 of my own gifts, and my own shower cake in my carry-on luggage! It was so lovely... my aunts, my Baba, my cousins, and even my extended family from Montreal drove to Ottawa for it! We played bridal bingo and a fun "stealing" game - everyone got 2 clothespins on their shirts, and if you see anyone cross her legs, or say the words wedding, shower, or gift, you steal one of their pins, and the woman with the most pins at the end of the day wins. We has such a blast! Even my mother flew in just for the day to surprise me! I'll share a few pictures... My second cousins

The very best part of the day was that I got to be with my family, whom I haven't seen in a long long time, and I got to ask my goddaughter Izzy to be my flower-girl, and she said yes! Thanks for letting me share!
