Ok, so lots of us have hair where we don't want it. I have some above my upper lip...it is all fine and light blonde though, so you can't really see it unless you are close up. So if I look at my face closely in the mirror it bothers me. Now I am afraid that I will be able to see it in the wedding pics!

Does anyone else have this problem? What do you do about it? And if you do some type of hair removal do you ALWAYS have to do it because it will grow back thicker/more noticeable?

Thanks.

Sorry, I can't help you, but I could offer a suggeston: I've heard a lot about those type of situations, and people just get them waxed at a salon...you can do upper lip waxing, and it is fine for a while. So, if you're worried about it showing up in your pics, you could always do that a day or so before, even the same day, if you have time...that way, you can be happy on your wedding day instead of worrying about how your pics will turn out.

Hope this helps!!

I used to have blond hair on my upper lips.

When I was in my teen I bough a waxing kit and know it almost don't grow anymore.  I only have to wax it ...  come to think of it I haven't done so for more then 6 months now.

Sure it hurts when you do it but after a while doing it you don't feel it anymore.

i agree with the waxing. i used to target this area with it and the hair grows finer and more sparser (?sp) too.

Hey..I have the same problem..but I never..never would remove the only reason being it would grow back ticker and longer!!!!

There is couple of things you can do...bleach them...if you do that there is no way you will notice them..or elecrolyses (Sp?) removes the hair forever any spa in your city might have it..doesn't cost a lot and the hair will never come back...it might take few treatments to have it all removed.

Good luck!

If you were going to wax the hair I wouldn't suggest doing it on your wedding day....you run into the possibility of reddness or swelling and you don't want that in your pics....just a thought as I have noticed slight swelling and reddness when I wax my eyebrows.

I took a waxing course when I went to school for cosemtology, the hair will not grow back thicker with waxing, that actually applies to shaving because of how the razor cuts the hair at an angle. Waxing actually makes the hair grows back alot more fine.  I've waxed my upper lip for about 5-6 years now, and I only have to wax it every 3-4 months.  Either go to the drug store and grab a hot wax kit or go have it done.  Just don't decide to try it on the day of the wedding!!
