If you wax it; it will grow back thinner and less often! I don't know who said that it would grow back dark and thick, but it's not true... WAX IT!

Claudia80 (4/28/2006) I took a waxing course when I went to school for cosemtology, the hair will not grow back thicker with waxing, that actually applies to shaving because of how the razor cuts the hair at an angle. Waxing actually makes the hair grows back alot more fine. I've waxed my upper lip for about 5-6 years now, and I only have to wax it every 3-4 months. Either go to the drug store and grab a hot wax kit or go have it done. Just don't decide to try it on the day of the wedding!!Did you ever get problems with ingrow hair???? Any type of waxing for me gives me ingrow hair... Before I used to all the time, now, not so much anymore. I found this stuff called Tend Skin that helps with ingrown hairs. I get it at Merle Norman, and it has helped alot! If you don't want to go that route you can get Witch Hazel liquid and use that on your legs...it helps as well.

Another less painful solution would be Nair lotion. I use that on my arms because I hate having hairy arms. There's no redness or swelling and the re-growth comes back very slowly and very fine. That would be my suggestion!

I like threading better than waxing because it doesn't irritate the skin at all. It does hurt more though.
Don't bother messing around with home kits - a professional will do it fast and properly - if you do it yourself you probably won't get all the hairs.
I go for threading once in a while but other times I just pluck the most obvious hairs...

| Hello, I know what you mean but I have dark hair! I never really noticed it then one day it was like OMG its so noticeable. I have laser hair removal because mine is dark but its fine not coarse. If yours is blonde and fine I would just wax it off. Laser is more for darker hair and hair that's coarse. Maybe try it soon and see how your skin reacts. My g/f had her's done and her lip was swollen for 2 days. So I wouldn't suggest doing it the day of the wedding. Good Luck ~Nicole
