Has anyone ever used airbrushing makeup before? Did it look better than normal makeup?

If anyone has any insight please post!

Thanks Gals

I have asked around this exact question to a lot of people and everyone I talked to said air brushing to the way to go.

It is apparently what all the models use because it doesn't rub off and if you sweat it will not run.

My wedding in June 24th so I assume it will be hot and I am therefore getting mine airbrushed.

I married my best friend, soul mate and lover!

Have you had a trial run yet? Are you having one? This might be out of line, but if you are would you post or PM me the before and after? Are you in the GTA? Whom are you having do it?

I know, I sound like a crazy person with all the ?'s but I think that makeup can make a big difference!

Thanks!

I had my trial make up done at Christmas-for a party and had the air brush makeup foundation done, but although it photographed REALLY well, it didn't look natural to me-as if it was theatrical makeup. Nothing of my skin showed through which actually made me feel real self conscious-as if everyone was thinking I put way too much foundation on! I called my make up artist and she assured me she had something else she could use on our wedding day. Hope this helps-if nothing else, I would recommend a trial makeup to see if you like it!

I think your makeup artist must have used too much foundation.  Airbrushed foundation is a fine mist that goes on your face and it really is lighter than any other foundation.

Most airbrush foundations have to be light enough to get through the airbrush as well.  Maybe she used too much, but it should not appear to be theatrical at all.  Just thought I would add that.

Does anyone know if MAC does airbrushing?  I tried calling the one close to me but they put me on hold then I got disconnected!  Now they are closed?

Nicole

I think some of the MAC artists may have the airbrushing system.  MAC has excellent foundation for the airbrush.  It is very light.
