FH and I recieved an invitation this week from friends of ours. The invitation itself doesn't have the ceremony, reception or dance times on the bottom...but we did recieve an additional card that told us about the dance...so with that we assumed we were invited to the dance BUT they also had an RSVP card for us to fill out saying how many people were attending. Would you say we're invited to a supper (even though there is nothing written about that at all) or just the dance. I'm confused because there was an RSVP card, and usually those are just needed if there's a supper to go to, right?

Any input would be awesome!

Stace

If it was me I would call them and ask who knows maybe they forgot to put something in the envelope. I hate guessing what people want since usually its never right anyways so i would want to know for sure what they wanted.

I am just guessing here Stace, but is it L&A's wedding???If so, then maybe talk to Beefer and see what he knows...If it's not theirs, then I dunno...ask them I suppose.

Maybe they have having a midnight buffet or something and need the numbers for ordering??

I know where I am that is quite common, to me it would mean you are not invited to dinner (or the info would be there) they would need you to Rsvp probably for the midnight buffet or maybe they are close to inviting what the hall holds.

Thanks Crys, it is L&A's wedding...I can see that it could be for the lunch later, it is very possible that that is their 'dinner' as they are keeping their wedding very low key.

Thanks everyone for all your advice,

Stacey
