I was just watching A Wedding Story on TLC and when the couple has their first kiss you could see their tongues going at it. In my opinion this is not attractive or appropriate. I think when you are kissing in front of many people (not to mention in a church!) you should be a little... er... respectful. No one needs to see you making out! Not to mention in the pictures of the kiss there will be delightfully open mouths and tongues everywhere. Ick.

I'm sorry but I think that is totally inappropriate and like you said especially in a church. I don't think it's necessary to show that to your guests leave it for the bedroom.

My whole thought was that there would be plenty of time for that sort of stuff later and that I really, really, REALLY didn't want tongues in our wedding photos! That said, I wasn't into making out in front of our guests.

I agree with you ladies! Although I'm all for a french kiss at any time....at the church alter in front of 100 people really isn't the place to do it!

MrsZator....I loved that kiss too...loved the movie actually...seen it about 1000 times..hahaha, but when it came to our kiss when we got married, it wasn't all that great until I pulled him in and made him stay a little longer...I put so much worry into the "kiss", that it made him nervous as to how I wanted to be kissed...ooops...but it all worked out in the end!!

| I saw that show today too and just for the record...THEY WERE NOT IN A CHURCH!! They were in an ice castle and they are French!! So I don't know if that makes a difference, perhaps it is more acceptable to their friends and family. Personally, I thought it was a little nauseating...but I am home sick today so that is not a stretch to how I feel LOL. I don't plan on rehersing "the kiss" but I don't think we will be that PDAesque. We are just not like that...maybe Calli can comment on this issue...wink wink! FH does not want to reherse the kiss so I will let you know what happens. JJF

Just caught the end of it - sorry! It was still a religious service, though, because he did make refrence to God... Not sure what being French has to do with it. Yucky making out is still yucky making out in any language.

OMG I know!!! My FH's sister got married in Feb and her husband laid one on her that made me cringe! I made FH practice and we discussed this!!! Gross!! No one wants to see that!

"Church tongue" ...ROFLMAO!!!  Yes, I think messy tongue-ey kisses are inappropriate. FH and I aren't marrying in a church, but we're gonna keep it in check.
