Mine are terrible this year too! Thank God I'm not getting married this time of year! I agree Reactine is horrible doesn't work at all and I need to switch to something more effective!

I've pretty much tried every allergy meds out there.  I went to the doctor and he prescribed Nasonex and Patanol (eyedrops)  The nasal spray I can't stand because of the side effects and the Patanol is a Godsend!

I have nasty seasonal allergies.  Basically dust and anything green and growing.  It triggers my asthma so I'm using a puffer this year and taking and anti-histamine to keep them under control.  I recently had a run in with penicillin and ended up having to do around of predisone.  The predisone did wonders for my allergies and my skin sensitivity.  Too bad they didn't give me some every year.

Mine haven't been too bad, I usually get nasal in the fall though, lol  or in FH's dirty house!

Usually when I'm in Europe at this time of year, things aren't so bad, but this year has been pretty awful.  I've been taking my ventolin a lot more than usual, and I've been sneezing a lot.

The only allergy pill that has ever helped with my symptoms is Chlor-Tripolon, but not the non-drowsy version, only the original.  The one big problem with Chlor-Tripolon is that it puts me to sleep.  So, I only use it if I don't have to go anywhere, and I enjoy the nice nap in the afternoon.  I carry an epi pen for anaphalactic reactions, but have luckily never had to use it.
