Hi everyone,

just got back from our honeymoon and I still have to sort through some of the pictures that were taken by my friends so I can post some for CB...

but here are my vendor reviews:

Venue- Canoe Restaurant -  9.5/10 fabulous venue (we were unlucky and there was fog almost the entire night- so there were no views of Toronto Island, the CN tower etc from the 54th floor :crying  overall great staff (we had some issues) and amazing food!!! worth the money!!

Officiant- Dr. Cerwyn Davies- 10 ++/10 - norwyn@rogers.com (416)267-1967 - he's so great!! Everyone had such a good time during the ceremony! Many people came up to us with compliments about our officiant!!

Hair/Makeup- Karen Chen Richardson- 10+/10 - krichardsonchen@yahoo.ca (647)294-5520 -  during the trial, Karen was so patient and really listened to me about what I wanted and didn't want.  On the day of, she did a fabulous job-  my hair and makeup (including fake eyelashes!) lasted!!  I got so many compliments about both my hair and makeup!!

Flowers - Kay Young Flowers - 8.5/10 -  (416)922-5651,  Davenport and Avenue Rd. - fabulous prices and the flowers were so fresh... the 1.5 point off was because they forgot to make one of the flower-girl bouquets and had to do it on the spot and it didn't look as nice.  For flowers- I only had 4 bouquets (mine, my MOH, and two FGs).  Here's a picture of my bouquet - even better than I imagined!!

Cake - Dufflet Pastries - 9.5/10 -  www.dufflet.com (416)484-9080 mmmmmm..... very delicious (also many compliments from our guest) and it looked great- I had ordered for the flowers to be just at the top but somehow they ended up "cascading" down-  still okay but not what I orderred.

here's a picture:it was more white in real life... not so yellow - we had a lot of leftovers, but most the guests were eager to take some home!!

Dress- Bridal Fashion Fraire  -http://www.fraire.net/bff/ - 8/10 - good staff, didn't have to do any alterations so I can't comment on the fitting process.  reasonable prices.  good selection

Veil - The Bride's Project - www.thebridesproject.com - 10/10 - very nice, excellent prices for veils and other things...  I'll donate my dress to this great cause if I can't sell it...

Photography -TBA-  www.andreasphoto.ca - Andreas Avdoulos - haven't seen all the proofs yet...

Videography - TBA- www.blossomproductions.ca - Claudia and Lorenzo Peralta  (416)857-5311  - we haven't seen the video yet...

Please e-mail me at ange_wong@hotmail.com if you have any questions...

I can definitely second the recommendation for Cerwyn Davies.  He married us too, and everyone was in tears... with laughter... good thing I had cry packs!!

I'm so glad your day went well, and I'm eagerly awaiting some more photos!!!

P.S.  the cake looks great - can't go wrong with Dufflet's cakes, they always taste amazing.  Too bad about the flowers, but getting the flavours right is more important, IMO.

~~~~~Married and loving it!!~~~~~
Moved to Germany on April 25, 2006!!
