A  happy marriage for sure.. he could've grabbed a candy ring and I would've been happy.. I know he loves me and wants to spend the rest of his life with me..

Thats too funny!! When me and FH were casually just looking at E rings (before he proposed) I loved this $150 ring but he said there is no way in hell he would ever by me something that tiny!!! I told him he could just get me a candy ring and I would be happy with that....lol The ring I ended up with is Amazing (and cost ALOT more then $150...lol) and I have to say that the quality is alot more important but My first pick would be a happy marriage!!!

That's funny!  He asked me over a year ago about what kind of ring I would expect and I said 'that big candy sucker ring in grape flavour please'. lol!  I didn't get it but I did get a beautiful ring that suits me perfectly.

Obvioulsy a happy marriage is the most important to me.  I don't have a diamond, and I don't want one.  IF I want one in the future, I'll probably opt for a necklace or earrings... but I have gorgeous diamond and garnet earrings set in platinum... so probably a nice necklace.  We can drive to the Netherlands and choose a nice diamond (the Dutch border is only 30 minutes by car from my hubby's parent's house)!!

A happy marriage is #1

Quality is far more important than size to me, I love my almost perfect diamond and no way would I trade it for a larger less stunning stone.

Happy marriage for me please.

I love my almost perfect garnet and no way would I trade if for a diamond

first and foremost, what matters to me is that the ring came from my fiance  and that we have a wonderful future together.

fh was really concerned about the perfert ring with lots of bling.  we went ring shopping/browsing quite a bit. in the end, in term of the ring, i told him that quality mattered the most, not size or number of diamonds.  i also told him that whatever he got me would be perfect, b/c it was from him.
