So we had our looming "money shower" this weekend. Was kind of nervous becuase I felt like a welfare shwoer. But it worked out great beucase we had to drive to Ottawa for it and there were 4 of us in the car and we were PACKED coming home beucae a FEW people brought gifts. Like I've never seen a trunk so strategically stuffed in my life!
The shwoer was a couples shower because it was basically his friends and family. It went well, we had a good turnout. Had a light lunch and a couple door prizes. I also made those weddingguestbook.com pages and it was a hit! people complained but they seemed to enjoy it. THere great to read aftewards.
His mom got us a cake and painted the hair white becuase he's albino  That was a hit.
Overall, had an enjoyable weekend in Ottawa. Heres a few pics, nto many becuase I don't feel comfortable posting other people on the internet.
We also met his dad for the first time and had birthday cake there!
