I got my hair dyed about a month ago, with blond and red highlights, and a dark brown base colour.  I have some seriously dark roots showing.

My brother is getting married next weekend, and while I realize I won't be the centre of attention, I would still like to look my best.

Any tips on hair styles that will minimize the looks of my roots?

Pics would be appreciated too.  I know how you ladies love pics

I know for me cause I dye my hair platnum blonde and I have almost black hair if I have roots I wear it up without a part. If it has a bart in it you see the roots however when its up it all flows.  But with your different colors your roots are probably only noticeable to you, especially if you only got it done 4-5 weeks ago. Play with your hair at home, try some different updo's. I hope it works out!!!!

How about something like this, not as elaborate, and little lose on the sides to hide your roots with a nice hair pin at the back. Try it out. That's what I do to try to hide my roots when they come in

Will that work?!  Cause I was thinking of trying that.  I might try it out later today or tomorrow to see how it looks.

Rob doesn't like my hair back   And I'm pretty inept when it comes to doing my own hair, and I can't really justify getting it styled by a stylist.  So the simpler the better

I use it when I'm lazy about getting my hair done! It's actually the ONLY time I wear a zig zag part, so now if any of you notice me with one, you'll know the secret Seems to work, the hair overlaps, and it brings the attention to the part not your haircolour. It's worth a shot - heck, it's free to try!
