| Man - I still haven't sent out 1 invite yet. That could be because I don't have them yet. I guess I should check on that. I still have to get the map and hotel info and directions taken care of. I guess I should get on that. Celestial - I hope you feel better soon! I hate being sick in the summer - its a total bummer! Get well soon! I cannot wait for this weekend to come. I don't want time to go by any faster - I just want the weekend to be here. My FMIL is coming to stay the night tonight - so needless to say I was up half the night cleaning the house and trying to make sure that all was perfect. Its still not and I'm exhausted. I only got 5 hours sleep! Its the second night in a row too. Today I also have a half day training seminar and then I have to rush out to my kid sister's high school graduation. I hope to be home by the time that my FMIL is in bed. Then its back up early tomorrow to see my FMIL off and then I have an office party I have to attend tomorrow night. I am totally looking forward to my extra long weekend!

| So funny I walked into the bathroom this morning while FH was showering and I'm about to get ready when suddenly I remember it's the end of June and we still don't have tuxes for groomsmen. FH thought it was very strange that my first conversation to him this morning (while he's in the shower) is about tuxes. Ha ha just shows my brain can't turn off wedding mode! So many things still on the list I'm starting to get nervous again. Novalt: yay to 44 invitations out.. and more to go out when you're off visiting FH. Good job! Sways: wow amazing job on the prizes! I'm not familiar with all the games but it sure sounds like it's going to be a fun night for everyone! Nicotina: sounds like a busy time ahead of you. Good luck with the map and hotel info. The invitations I'm sure will be ready soon.
Married: Sept 13, 2008 What a wonderful day!

| Sways - I didn't see your post before I posted - sorry - The list looks good. For FH's best man's stag I created an adult version of pin the tail on the donkey - only with pin -ups and tails that looked like---well I think you can guess. It was actually quite fun. Of course its cheap to run and all you need is a poster of a male/female model and some "tails" of sorts. I personally love this idea. However it sounds like you guys have put a lot of work into it! I think you have a lot of great games and prizes. I once saw someone give a door as a door prize. Where & when is the stag & doe? Popcorn - I swear sometimes I'm the same way - the first thing we talk about is "Wedding stuff". I know he'll be glad when its done so we can talk about something else.

| sways, you definitely have enough prizes!! Good job! How many people are you expecting? My first thought is that you might have too many games... but if you have enough people to help, then go for it.. All we did was 50/50, raffle and toonie toss.. we were going to do the log game, but it came down to not having enough people to help run everything. Make sure everyone knows what they will be doing that night and are actually willing to help. I didn't talk to the groomsmen much till that day and they helped with the set up and take down, but in between all they wanted to do was drink and hang out with our friends..

| Thanks for the input guys. I sold the first 100 tickets within a week and a half and have since printed up 60 more (of which i think most are spoken for) and I'll print up more again if I have to. I just want it to go really well. I have this bad vision that it's going to be a total flop and that would suck! The stag/doe is on July 19th at the Bronte Legion in Oakville. It looks like it has definite potential to be good but I suppose in 3.5 weeks we'll know for sure! I can't believe time is just kinda flying by these days...mind you I've been really busy the last week or two so maybe that's why. When I have too much time to myself it seems that it drags on and on and on. Mat leave can totally suck sometimes, if it wasn't for the gym not only would I not have my new career path but I'd be losing my mind!

| Got 2 replies to invites this week. Parents (obviously) and 1 set of friends. Still no BM so I have to hold back a few invites until Peter gets his act together. I decided to enroll for a boot camp fitness for July at 2 x per week, and start on July 7. Should be interesting. I have been hunting for the minister but am still undecided. Have to get this done by the 4th! I downloaded the marriage license and just have to get it signed before I take it in soon. Fortunately the office is next to my workplace so this can get done quickly. I started to make my list of all of the small things to do along with the target dates when they are to be done. Wow a lot to do!
