I spoke with the jeweler today and he justified it by saying this is one thing from your wedding day that will last many years from now. I have figured out if Peter and I are married for 25 years it will cost me $52 a year of 14.2 cents per day! Of course if the marriage lasts for 10 years its $130 per year. I am glad I am not the only one who has a FH that decided on an expensive band, misery loves company  On another note I have been having lots of wedding nightmare dreams. My first one MOH cancelled via email on the day of. How was I supposed to know, am I going to check email on my wedding day. The next day I dreamt I was dying and we were getting married anyway. I bet those that practice dream analysis would have their work cut out for them with my nightmares! I told MOH I shall kill her if she cancels, FH laughed when I said I was dying. Oh sweetie! My heart goes out to you but I must admit that latter dream is pretty funny!!! I wish I was dreaming, I am wide awake and having friggin panic attacks! I don't even want to know what my blood pressure is at. It must be at 5827!!!

I went to all the major retail stores for shoes...have yet to venture into many bridal stores. I have a hard time with getting ivory.

I went to all the major retail stores for shoes...have yet to venture into many bridal stores. I have a hard time with getting ivory.Kerrie, why don't you try ebay. I bought both pairs of wedding shoes (ceremony and reception) on ebay. One pair was 17.99 and the second pair was 15.99. Total with shipping and handling came out to $44.00. I have pics if you want to see them. Ebay has everything and you STILL have enough time to get them. I think I got mine within 10 days. Good luck sweetie!

| i found my shoes and my bridesmaids shoes at walmart for $10!!!! what a score... popcorn: because we rented a hall that supplied the bar and all we paid for was the bartenders so if we had gone with a hall and got a liquor license and did it ourselves we'd of made some crazy cash... there are pics but they are on facebook as they are from my friends camera and they are huge and fuzzy pics unfortunately. however i will post one pic of FH and I like 1.5hrs after it started...HE jumped me!

I can't find ivory shoes that I like anywhere, and I can't find red ones that will be the right colour. I was in T.O. and couldn't find them!!! Guest list drama...120 recently turned into 144, with our hall not holding that many people comfortably. I don't know what we're going to do. Unproductive weekend, but I saw Dirty Dancing with my MOH and had great time in T.O. i couldn't find ivory shoes that i liked anywhere.. i ended up buying white satin dyeabe (spell?) ones. bridal shop says i'll be able to have them dyed ivory. (You could also do the same for red ones.) i figure after the wedding i'll have the shoes dyed black... cause then i'll prob wear them again...
