So, this has been a terrible week and it's leaving FH and I in a whole sh!t load of stress.
My friend died Monday, I wasn't THAT close with her, but close enough that it seriously is like WOW, wtf? She was only 17 years old...!!!!!!!
Tuesday night my father was in a motorcycle accident, a semi-truck hit him and he is in the hospital.. I think he's going to make it. He's induced into a coma right now, and they finally have the internal bleeding under control, but he's in terrible shape... which isn't good.
And this morning FH & I got a call... his cousin died... they had worked at a tire shop together and were really close friends/cousins.. he died of CANCER... and he was 19 years old..
This has been such a sucky week, I'm freaking out because theirs paper work I need my father to get done and send to me, and I don't know how I'm going to get it all done up before the wedding.. (which it needs to be).
FH says it'll work out, but I'm still worried, I have no one out west (where my father is) that I can get in contact with to try and figure things out.

| anik - i'm sure it's just stress. i would definately go to a doctor! keep us posted and let us know how things are going sbru - i'm so sorry for your losses and i hope that your father gets well very soon. as for the papers, you could (i don't know if this will work, but...) phone the hospital and ask the nurses to get things signed for you. i would phone at night though. if they won't do that, you could maybe just call to check up how he's doing. i got the timelines done and info sheets for all people involved yesterday, and most of the programs done (i need to get more paper) i think i'm going to put together my 'emergency kit", and finish the programs today! hope everyone is holding in there, just a little bit to go!!

| Well, I'd call last night a successful night! I went tanning, got a pedicure, booked the BP's mani/pedi's for the day before the wedding... Booked my final cut and colour before the wedding... Finished my programs, wrote out all the names on the place cards (now I just need to assign tables)... And today, I bought my mom her purse for the wedding, bought all my hair jewelry, bought the BM's hair jewelery... I feel good... daa na na na na na naaaaaaaa.... LOL

Oh Sbru- my thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope your father gets well soon! Don't worry about the wedding- things will fall into place. What kind of papers does your dad need to have filled out? Is it something that has to be done by him, or is he doing it because he is out there? I will be glad to try to help you figure something out, even though I am way the heck in Nova Scotia!
Anik- call your hairdresser, as well as the doctor too. Don't panic, because the average person loses 100 to 200 hairs per day. You could just be noticing it more because of the stress. Also, what kind of shampoo do you use, and do you use any shampoos with medication in them? ( I took a hairdressing course so I can try to remember some of the things I had learned)
June- the candles are beautiful!
Beanie- sounds like you had a very productive night!
As for me, I just had a talk with my bridesmaid who is due for her baby 11 days after the wedding, plus has a family member with terminal cancer (they have already made her funeral arrangements, they are just waiting on the call). Between the 2 of us, we figured out a way for her to still be involved AND me have another bridesmaid just in case. Since I lost my ring bearer due to a friendship ending (long very emotional story for me because he is my godson and I haven't seen him in months:crying Amy will now be wearing a slightly different dress, will carry a slightly different bouquet, will carry the rings for us, and will be doing a reading for us. She will escort my flower girls, and will still be listed as a bridesmaid and seated at the head table. This way, if the baby (which I say is a boy!) decides to make a big entrance, or if she should have to be with her family if there is an emergency, I can still have a backup for the reading (another bridesmaid was going to do it for us but has said that Amy can) and the rings! I am so lucky to have a friend like her!!!!!!
By the way- my bachelorette is TOMORROW!!!!!!
Now Mrs. H!
