A couple new things with me, I'm just coming off a week of bedrest after pulling a muscle in my abdominal wall, it was quite painful last week, but just a little sore right now.  The other thing is I'm still gonna be an August momma, baby was measuring 3 weeks larger at my last ultrasound, but according to my doctor she's just a big baby!!  She's in the 90th percentile for her age right now!!!

Good idea to start this up again.  I've been good, sometimes I get a little sore in the lower abdomen due to my HUGE belly especially when I get up in the middle of the night for a pee.  It seems to be getting bigger every day now!  I had a Dr.s appointment last Thursday and my GD test came back normal so I'm happy about that.  Baby's heartrate was 153 bpm (different every time!) Baby was head down, I was only up 1 pound since last month and I was measuring 28 weeks instead of 27 so baby (or belly) is growing fast.  Now I'm scheduled to go every 2 weeks since we're in the third trimester yipes!!!  One of my favorite pastimes is watching baby move in the belly but it takes up a lot of time.  I've been trying to tape it on my camera, but the baby gets camera shy as soon as I hit record, and when it is in a very active mood I don't have my camera nearby...  The only bad news I got at my Dr.s appt was that she is going on holidays from August 16th till the 25th!!!  So please cross your fingers that this baby arrives before the 16th.  She is getting me to meet the other Dr. in her practice but I really love my Dr. and would prefer her to deliver our baby.  We have had my sister's little dog for the past 2 weeks and wil have her for 2 more.  I'm getting attached, (don't know how i'm going to give her back) she's very loyal to me and so so cute.  I will hopefully post pictures soon of the belly and my furbaby as soon as DH finds me the cord.  Hope everyone else is doing good.

Haha- I started the thread and I didn't even update myself. Here is what's new with me.

I had my doctors appointment last week and everything is going great with me and baby. Her heartbeat was 150+bpm and very loud as she was at the front of my belly. She is still resisting the head down postion and is transverse, head to the left lefts and arms on the right. My doctor said he is giving me until 34 weeks for her to move, and then we will look at other options. Fingers crossed that she moves...please! I got to get another Rh- shot at the hospital tomorrow, and then I got for my GD test on Wednesday. I'm seeing my doctor in 3 weeks and then I'll be going every 2 weeks after that. I'm measuring really small for how far along I am. My belly is only 22-23cm...when it should be around 27-28cm my doctor said. Nothing to worry about- I'm just going to be having a tiny tiny baby. I feel huge- but I'm really really small for how far along I am. I've only gained 2 lbs since my last appointment (which concerned my doctor) so I have been eating bigger portions and more this week to try and get my weight gain up.

I've been getting a TON of Braxton Hicks Contractions this past weekend and tonight. They are actually starting to become kind of painful. I'm trying not to get myself all worked up and anxious as I'm pretty confident that they are just BH but I still worry. I also got heartburn tonight for the first time, so that on top of my BH made me unhappy and uncomfortable...and I was at the DALLAS GREEN (City&Colour) Concert. *sigh*

Brenda and I are in a swimming class together. It is pretty fun. A whole bunch of preggo's in swimming suits paddling around the pool. I pretty much laugh for the whole hour. It's great though- I LOVE that I'm meeting more pregnant people, you can never have to many Mommy friends.

We are starting our nursery next week. My dad has finished painting our dresser and bookshelf and will be bringing it down to us next Tuesday when he comes to help us paint the room. We just need to get our crib, and everything else is pretty much done. My parents got me a rocker for my birthday (which is tomorrow, well today I guess...lol) and I sit in it every day. I cannot wait to rock my baby in it.

Ok- that's all I got...

Happy Birthday Erin B!!!  I hope your day is great and your BH give you a break.  I sometimes notice BH contractions, but they are not too frequent that it bothers me.  I did wake up at 5 am with another painful leg cramp....

hey all!  I just had my mw apt this am (I am 29 weeks & 2 days), although my glucose screening came back negative both my mw's are concerned that I have been consistently measuring big (33 cm today, so opposite problem of Erin B.) and have suggested just to be sure that I go for the diagnostic GD test (the one where you have to fast ) and it looks like from external palpation baby is head up & bum down, but my mw assured me not to worry b/c this is still so early & they have loads of time to turn around...maybe I'm just having a bad day, but I'm feeling like nothing is going my way (and I know I'm just over reacting & am sensitive) but with the insomnia/anxiety issue and now all this (which I know, again, is nothing...yet) I just feel like I'm not coping & am having a hard time staying positive...I'm feeling a general distrust of my body, which isn't good, especially for me & wanting a vbac...blah blah blah...so let' s hope it's just a bad day, but I feel like I'm already being cheated and I still have 11 ish weeks to go - this is why I haven't posted in a while b/c I'm feeling down & don't want to be a negative-nelly...

c'était l'amour...September 2, 2007...

and now we await baby: August 2008

Thanks for the Birthday Wish Cornpops! So far so BH today- but I did have to get my WinRho (or something) shot this morning. She did it in my hip/butt and it HURT! Oh man...I could hardly walk after!

ErinMD- I hope you will start posting more! We are all here to support you and if you are feeling down I promise we don't mind (well I sure don't and I'm sure the other ladies don't either). Some days I get really negative and depressed and coming on here always makes me feel better. As miraculous as our bodies are- sometimes they just don't want to do what we want them to do...as hard as that is to swallow. I really really hope that everything works out for you and that things start turning around. You're in my thoughts!
