Cornpops (7/7/2008)
Brenda that is awesome news!!!! I will be praying and thinking of you, Jaxon and Wolf.  I can't wait till you get to take him home.

Erin I totally know what you mean, how in a month give or take we will be holing our little ones!!!  I have to say though, I really am enjoying the pregnancy, despite the weight gain, stretch mark, unbearably swollen feet and hands that hurt the next morning....I feel like I've been pretty lucky so far and haven't had any real complications.  I'm really going to miss my baby kicking me from inside.  I feel like we have such a bond and I will never experience it again.  DH tells me, don't worry I'll make sure you have more babies lol!  But I feel like it will be a different experience next time round, and who know how old our first will be when we are on our second, so it might be really busy, etc.  I know it's stupid to feel kinda sad about this, I mean very soon I'll be experiencing an even more intense bond and I'll be so happy to meet my baby.  It's just, I feel like it's going too fast right now.......

 Take care August mammas.

I totally agree, as much as I want my baby in my arms, I'm going to miss my morphing belly, the kicks and the hiccups. I still sleep wonderfully well at night and have yet to experience any swelling and am still stretch mark free, so I'm not horribly uncomfortable yet. I feel sad too- I'm going to miss it. It's kind of a selfish thing because it is something that only I can experience it- but its just so special. I desperate want my DH to experience it as well- but he won't really be able too until baby is here. Soon enough- our little baby's will be here soon enough.

I'm not sure I'm going to miss being pregnant - it was kinda difficult this time (as compared to with ds) - yep I think I'm ready to be a momma again & to eventually get back into my regular clothes & just be more mobile...don' get me wrong I love my pregnant body...I just think it has felt like one looooooong pregnancy & I'm ready for the next phase! and we're 99% sure this is the last one!

hey ladies! how are you all doing? man is it hot & humid here in Toronto (YUCK!)

so we did our hospital tour yesterday & pre-register (just want to do it in case we end up there - good to know the lay of the land....so to speak), but boy did it reaffirm my desire to labour & birth at home...so let's hope it goes that way

while we were there I saw my doula with another client - I was like oh wow that will be me soon enough...YIKES!!! it's weird, but I am way more nervous for labour this time then I was with ds...weird? excited, but nervous...

anyway, I am getting much more uncomfortable and so feeling more & more ready to have this baby, but I can manage to wait to term , but if I go overdue ugh I'll really need to stay distracted & posistive...anyway, seeing what Brenda has gone through does make me realize a little discomfort is truly a blessing to keep these babies in until term!

Erin- I'm glad that you are preparing yourself for whatever happens with your labour. It's good to have a back up plan! I really hope that you are able to have the vbac at home- but you are super smart to cover your bases.

As for me, I'm starting to get more and more uncomfortable. I can't sit for very long, I can't stand for very long, I can't keep up with the kids I nanny (lol) I can't bend over and I need the bathroom every 30-45 minutes! *sigh* LOVE my belly, love that she is with me 24/7 but I'm starting to suffer a tad. I'm pretty much in a perpetual state of needing a nap. I'm up every few hours at night to pee, and then it takes me FOREVER to fall back asleep. Lately, I've just been getting up, usually around 3:45-4:30am and reading until I get tired again which usually is about 7:00-8:00am. *sigh* sorry, that was a bit long and whiney.

I've been getting painful BH since about 3:40 this morning...about 3 an hour so I'm taking it easy easy today. ZERO other signs that this might be labour (which I pray it isn't) just the contractions...which I'm hoping will stop now that I'm outta bed and drinking a mason jar of water every 30 minutes. The baby CANNOT come this week because my parents are MIA in Canada somewhere...LOL. They will be home later this week- however...this monkey needs to stay in, I'm only 34 weeks 3 days-- NOT fully cooked yet! *sigh*

That is all- sorry I'm full of complaints....

How is everyone doing? Anyone else getting a TON of braxton hicks like ALL day long?

Posting abilities are back again lol.

I'm glad to hear that jaxon is home from the hospital. Brenda, you must be so excited

As for the braxton hicks, I get about 20-40 daily from approx. 16-20 weeks and on Dr. says that why my labours are so quick! Damn things, I wish they would get easier to deal with, but they just don't lol.

How is everyone doing? We are all getting SO close!

We did it After 7 years, we finally made it official Such an amazing evening!

re: BH contractions, yeah I get them all the time & from early on in my pregnancy - I hope for me it means my labour will be shorter than longer too! but I'll plan on the long haul even if this is my second

I'm feeling great - just got back from an amazing spa day with my 2 sisters!!! seriously, call me mellow-yellow....

wow 36 weeks tomorrow....the 9th month, the last leg of the journey...CRAZY!!!!
