The in-laws have offered to pay for the rehersal dinner, which approx. 30 people. I can't get a lot of time off for the wedding and I have to work until at least 5:30 until the day before the wedding so we're having the dinner the weekend before and the church rehersal two days before.

Just curious what every did for their rehersal, where and when. FH and I prefer not to go to a restaurant.

IT'S FINALLY HERE!

We're having our rehearsal the day before the wedding I think around 5pm. Then after we're going over to FH aunts where she and FMIL are planning a BBQ. FMIL doesn't have alot of money so cant afford to pay for a resturant dinner, so we suggested a BBQ and then just have everyone bring a lil something like salad or desert.

Looks like FMIL wants to try for the BBQ befor the rehearsal though to try to avoid those nasty buggies that come out in the evening and because we're supposed to go decorate the hall afterwards. We'll see....

I'm so excited.

We had ours this past Sunday, wedding is on Sat. I refused to have it the night before

My Inlaws did it, it was just everyone at their house for dinner. Very simple

We're having it at a restaurant - I didn't want to spend too much money, so I called the restaurant I had in mind and told them the number of people, and my budget.

They were able to work out a fantastic menu within my budget!

~~Beans~~

We did it, and it was everything I imagined it would be!

our rehersal is the night before, 5pm at the Church then back to FH parents for a BBQ.  We are buying pork and beef from Costco and making salads with homemade pies for dessert! YUM!
