I'd look in the phonebook or online for a number of a clinic. Good Luck!

| I'm in Winnipeg. I highly recommend that you call the Women's Health Clinic: 947-1517. They have all Female staff. And tehy're really good with women who have never had an exam. Just tell them you're need to make an appointment for a 'pap'. They'll know what you mean. If you're under 18, you could go to the no-appoitment drop-in on Thursday nights, or if you're under 21, you could go to the no-appoinment drop-in on Monday nights. If you'd rather find yourself a regular family doctor, then I'd recommend you call the Family Doctor Connection Program: 786-7111 http://www.wrha.mb.ca/healthinfo/findadoc.php The Manitoba College of Family Physicians and Manitoba Health offer a service called "The Family Doctor Connection Program" which provides an up-to-date comprehensive list of Winnipeg family doctors accepting new patients and is accessible by calling a single telephone number. You will be assisted personally and provided with the names and telephone numbers of family physicians accepting new patients in your area of residence. Good Luck.

I just request an annual "grease, oil and filter"; they laugh but seem to know what I'm referring to. It is very important to have regular pap tests so don't hesitate and there's no reason to feel shy about it, it's just one of those things we all have to do whether we like it or not.
