I can tell you what limo company to avoid - Ambassador Limo in the GTA. I was an hour late to my own wedding, and then I had to fight with the driver, as he claimed I did not pay - when I had already paid in full via cheque (I had a copy with me, so needless to say, he left me alone very quickly considering I was just an hour late to my own wedding.... I was ready to rip him a new A**)
We did it! And it was wonderful! So happy to be Mrs. Reed!

Oooh thanks for the info re: Ambassador. You should have contacted their owner or manager after the fact and asked for some money back for your trouble!!!! I hope you did.
To the original poster of this thread - thank you - I am also looking for good reputable limo companies - though I am also curious to know if anyone has been able to find companies who rent cool vintage cars for a decent price? Ideally I'd love a vintage Rolls but doesn't need to be.
Also wondering what others have done regarding renting cool transportation like a vintage car that only fits the bride and groom - did you rent limos for everyone else? I hope this isn't considered thread jacking - thought that any responses here would be beneficial to the original poster as well so just posting my inquiries as an add on to the discussion. Mods - if you think it should be separate please split the thread? Thanks!
Cheers,
2 B Wed July 10, 2009!
Me (29) + FH (32) + his son (12) = 9.5 years together
Done so far:
Asked wedding party, decided on venue (Miller Lash), got catering quotes, decided theme, brainstorming details, started dress search, hired kicka$$ planner, made vendor lists, fought with FMIL, made up with FMIL, lost e-ring, found e-ring... only 10 mos to go!

| We are using L.A. Limos for our wedding: http://www.lalimos.ca/ Their prices were great (they worked in our budget) and they were great to work with. They also came with great recommendations to me from other people. I highly suggest looking into them!

I'm not sure where you're located, but here are a couple of companies that I have used/recommended to clients etc. First one is Erin Mills Limo - They're amazing, and friendly. Speak to Mary-Lou. They have a wide variety of stretch limos - buses available, and the prices are reasonable. The other is Mermaid Limo - you can speak to Bob. Their prices are AMAZING, and limos are very nice. They also have a wide variety of limos available.I used a man named Sam for my wedding - He only has Caddy's though...if you want his number, let me know and I'll see if I can find it for you. Hope this helps!
