I joined Curves and lost 47 lbs in 8 months and 49.5 inches...I love Curves. It really works..if you really commit yourself to the workouts.

Good for you!  That's very good progress!

I ahve been going for a week now, and I also love it. I swaet so hard when I am there and really push myself. I weighed myself yesterday and am down 5 pounds, and am sure i have lost a few inches becuase clothes are fitting better...

I really suggest it for every woman, especially if normal gyms intimidate you!

I'm thinking of joining Curves, my wedding is not for another two years, but it might take some time to get motivated

I'm glad to see some positive feedback on Curves, makes me want to call them up asap.

What's the normal membership fee? I'm in the Toronto area, I don't know if varies by location.
