After you ordered it, how long did it take for your wedding dress to come in?

what about your bridesmaids dresses?

How long is considered "average"?

thanks!

I haven't ordered mine yet, but tey say BM dresses are about 4 nonths and wedding dresses are about 6-7 months.  A friend of mine just got her dress in and it only took 3 months!!!!! Also, make sure you have enough time for any alterations.  I would say BM dresses should be ordered about 5-6 months prior, and weding dresses about 9 months prior.

I've been told (by my friend who owns a bridal shop) that typically a dress can arrive in 4 months.  But it depends on the designer, and the shipping days.

My bridesmaid dresses were ordered (same designer) on the same day.  One came in 3 months (but we put a rush on it because she wanted to wear it to another occasion too) and the second one should be in this month which would be 5 months.

My dress was just ordered (again) last week (due to fabric being discontinued, but i won't get into that. lol) and it also has a rush put on it.  It's set to arrive the first week of August... so that's 2 months... haha. we'll see.  As long as it's here before the end of August I'll be happy.

My dress actually came in early, it took 3 months. I was told it would be about 4-5 months.

My bridesmaids dresses also arrived early, they took 2 and a half months to come in. I guess we got lucky

Well, my FIRST dress - *ahem* - arrived really quickly. It took around 3 months, I think. The second dress I bought used, so I got it right away.

My dress took six months to come in.

My BM dresses took 5 months, which I was panicking about, they said it would take 3-4, and they JUST came in.  My wedding is not this Friday, but the next.  They will be steamed by this Friday so I will go pick them up and all the girls have to get their alterations done within the week.  Probably best to do the alterations before it is steamed but I just want to get them in my possession it's worrying me!

Well, Friday June 13th, 2008 came and went, I still can't believe I'm a married woman!

1 month for mine, 1.5 for the girls.

But I was told it could take 9mo. I must have just caught a cut
