| Here's a pic of my fat lip. It turned out to be not so bad:
I was pretty lucky. Such an idiot. lol! A sad story but one I will share anyway. We also came across a bird's nest that was in a branch but the branch broke. The smallest little baby birds were falling out of the nest!!! It was horrible to see! Paul put them back and I took a magazine and taped it with medical tape to the branch so the birds would not fall out and hopefully be protected from the elements. The mom was a chickadee, poor thing. I think she tried to feed them but they were too upset so they ended up dying.  I cried, it was so sad to see. Nature is very cruel. Paul did take a pic of the babies before we realized they were going to fall.

Nancy, that pic is awesome! What day was "show off your kids day"? I'd like to go back and snoop  tuesday or wednesday...maybe...we were trying to change the minds of the NBNBN club with our cute kids lol. and how did you do with that nancy? maybe your kids aren't quite cute "enough" to change me, hope and will?  ...and Beth (you know, the dippy blonde who always gets forgotten) my bad

I know. The mom was watching me put the magazine around the tree and she did go in & out of the nest quite a few times but I guess they just didn't eat. They didn't even have feathers on them, they just must have hatched.
