One of the best pieces of advice that we got was to burn the slideshow onto DVD. We were way less fearful of technology problems with the DVD player instead of a computer.

I've done a bunch of slide shows for different things and I use Window's Movie Maker. It's awsome and so easy! You can add music and set the timing so that you slides correspond with the music. You can have your photo's fade in or do all sorts of interesting tricks with them!

It's awsome!

Taht's what I used for my sister's slideshow on the weekend.  It worked great!
