Just curious to see how many of you laides are having programs? We're having a small wedding and I didn't think it necessary to have programs, but now I'm wondering if I should! What's usually included in a program anyway?

I'm having a small-ish wedding (prob 50-65 guests).  It's going to be an outdoor civil ceremony and we are not having programs.  I just didn't see the need.

I plan on doing programs.  I think they're a nice touch.

But do you need them?  No.

My brother got married recently and they had ~130 guests and they didn't have programs.

ETA - what's usually included is the names of the wedding party and the officiant, the order of service, and the names of the songs (and musicians if you're using live music).  Some people put other stuff as well, but I think that's the basics

I'm having about 140 people and I saw no need for programs.  To me it seemed like a lot of work for something that no one was going to read or keep (based on my own experience & actions)
