Becca, I don't think you have anything to worry about with the GDS.

Nikki I hope you feel better soon.

You can't really see it in the picture, but on the dresser we have a baby ball mitt.  DH can't wait to teach our lo to play ball.

I am going to buy a change mat today, but not sure what color?  I was thinking plain white, then I can always get a cover.  What do you think?

Love your furniture, Jill. I love dark wood. Very nice choice.

I've heard that the drink is just disgusting for the GDS... I hope you feel better soon, Becca.

You too, Nikki. I know how you feel... I hate having to take a day off sick... nothing worse then being so hot and headachy that you just can't sleep. I hope tonight is better for you.

DH and I have decided on cloth diapers. We'll likely have some disposables on hand for any little trips... that kind of thing. We're still looking into what brand... but I've heard good things about BumGenius and Bummies. We still have to decide whether we'll buy or go with a diaper service.

I agree, Jill, about the change cover... you can always get a funky cover later on.

Thats awesome that you are going with cloth! Sounds like Im being out numbered with wanting disposable...lol..

Oh and FYI ladies, if you shop at shoppers drug mart, google double optimum points for new moms. It takes you to their site and you register for a certain time period where you get double points on buying baby stuff!

I just think its a good thing that there are so many options... its nice to not feel stuck, you can really personalize choices.

Thanks for the head's up about Shoppers. That's good to know.

We would prob do it too but we are in a condo and do not have a washer/dryer... It would get too tough

Makes sense. I would do the same thing. You can get chlorine free disposables (I think they're more expensive then brands like Huggies or Pampers) but if that's something you're concerned about it gives you another option.

Is anyone finding that they're having moments of preggo brain? Maybe I'm just not getting enough sleep, but wow... I'm forgetting things like crazy lately.
