well... I've been slacking on the whole 'working out thing'... but I'm going to be starting up again tonight

Needless to say, I've been dancing in my car (45 min drive to work, 1 hour home)... so I've been doing something..

***... I'm doing so bad lately... I'm not letting myself go over a certain weight and if I do... it's all over.... after this weekend at the cottage is over, back to eating like a good little lady

Ok, I'm joining!! I"ve gained almost 10lbs since I got engaged six months ago - the WRONG direction - I wanted to lose weight - now I have to lose twice as much - a total of 20 lbs before the wedding in January 09 : p
I attribute a lot of my weight gain to my super stressful job which had lots of of travel, long hours so working out was hard, and it drove me to drink beer! The good news is - I QUIT and last Friday was my last day. I don't start my mew job for three weeks - so I now have what I'm calling Three Weeks of me where I take my life and my health back. Starting tomorrow - one hour of exercise a day, very limited sugars and refined carbs, and cutting back on booze.

My goal is to lose 14lbs by my stagette on October 18, then the last 5 by my last dress fitting in mid-November.

I KNOW I can do it if I focus, and remember what I'm sacrificing for. And now I have the time to focus and do something for me again. Yay!

So, I am a really funny shape, like really barbie "dolly". I am fairly big chested (34D), small waisted (about 28) and then I have very large hips right now (44- I've gained some weight). My goal is to be down to 39 in the hips and tone my arms. I have a while to go, but I'd like to start a good fitness regime to keep up after the wedding! Does anyone know any good gyms in the Orillia area? I knkow Goodlife in Barrie is great, but I want something  little closer to home and work!

So it's been two weeks and I've lost only 3 lbs - which made me really mad when I stepped on the scale this morning - but then I reminded myself that it's 1.5 lbs a week - which is a healthy way to lose, and that if I keep that up, I';ll be at my goal in less than two months!

My efforts will be much helped if I stop drinking beer too! Also my allergies have been soo bad this past week I've hardly exercised at all.
Anyhow, slow and steady! : )

eeep!  So, I had to stop going to weight watchers because I couldn't afford it anymore and I sort of slacked off...that and when I'm stressed, I eat.  less than 2 months to go and I'm stressed.

Put my dress on tonight and it JUST fit...my mom was like, "you should lose at least ten pounds before the wedding, honey."  And she's right.

So even though I can't go to the meetings, back to counting my points and trips to the gym....I really need to do this.
