| Yet another shower question. (I went to my first shower this year, so pardon my ignorance.) Do people usually host them on Sundays or does it matter (Saturday or Sunday is fine?)

| Showers are generally on Sunday Afternoons. Mine is coming up in September and will be on a Saturday - some people have already made comments indicating this is a huge inconvenience. These people are jerks and I choose not to be concerned...besides, my MOH and Mom are hosting and it's really up to them to take care of these details. But - just so you know, Sundays tend to be the more traditional days for such events.

Mines on a saturday. I think traditionally its supposed to be a sunday. These days anything goes.

Mine was on a Sunday. We had it at the hall where the wedding will be but in a smaller room and since usually Saturdays are booked for weddings, they tend to do them on Sundays...might be cheaper too depending on where you are having it.

Mine was on a Sunday. We wanted it to be the Saturday, but the halls and restaurants we looked into we less expensive on Sundays.

We are having two showers because we are from two different locations and each community wanted to do something for us and both showers have been scheduled for Saturdays.

| Mine will be on a Saturday. Many of those that I wanted invited have family comitments and such on Sundays so Saturday worked best for that. Leslie
