I've wanted to do cloth with Kinley since she was born, and suddenly she's 8 months old, and I haven't done anything about it...until now! I didn't know where to start, so I did tons of reading online, and bought a few different styles to try out, and I just wanted to give my review on the BumGenius 3.0 (for any of you considering cloth). I know a few other CB moms are using them - and thanks to your reviews on them as well, it helped me in chosing what to try. I flipping LOVE them. Haven't had any leaks, aren't too bulky, easy like a sposie, is a pocket diap so you can stuff to increase absorbency, etc. Also love that they fit 7-35lbs. I'm blown away by how easy cloth can be, and how nice they are against Kinley's bum. I wish that I had started earlier.
(If anyone is interested, this shows a bit about the diaps:

Thanks for posting Krash b/c I really want to cloth diaper my lo but am so hesitant b/c my DH doesn't want to. He also says that now that he's 6 1/2 months it's too late to start. I'm going to try and convince him again.

How do you find dealing with the messy dirty diapers? I want to use CDs for our lo, but am not sure about dealing with the poopy diapers.

| Awesome Krash!! We've been using bumgenius3's since lo was about 2.5 months or so. We LOVE them too!!Do you have them on the second snap or are they not folded at all. Just curious Will is still on the second snap!! As for the poopy diapers. WIll is still ebf so they are a snap. Just throw them in the wash.

| Krash! I'm so glad you posted this cause I've just started doing a lot of reasearch on cloth diapers and wanted to know how they hold up. I've also been researching a couple other brands but if all the rave reviews are with Bum Genius I might as well not waste money trying out other brands. They are pricey to start but would be a HUGE investement if we used them up till potty training. Jaedagal-since I remember you posting about them quite a while ago, how long have you been using the same diapers and how is the velcro after a period of time? Do you have that toilet sprayer if so is it worth getting? Do the snaps have a strong hold? I just imagine an active baby, the snaps coming apart and a mess when the diaper hangs too low off the bottom. lol! I am a beginner at diapering all together... I really don't know what to expect! I looked on e-bay the other day and you can get a kit that includes 12 bumgenius diapers (random colors) 12 flannel wipes, 1 toilet sprayer and 1 bottle of bottom cleaner for $285.63CAD plus shipping and handling. Is that a good deal? If I'm planning on using cloth diapers always at home and only disposables when we're out or if someone's babysitting how many diapers would I need total? 12 is probably not enough. Thanks ladies!
