All I can say about the day is that it was PERFECT, I could not have asked for anything more. The biggest shocker was that I really was not in the least bit nervous, which is beyond weird for me. My whole family said that I was freaking them out.

So, I guess I'll talk a little bit about the day:

The day before my mom, sister and I went to the Rosewater Spa for a day of pampering which was amazing and much needed, except that the oil used during the massage took off my bronzer in patches and I had to do some emergency exfoliating...minor disaster averted. Then we decorated the house and my sister and I watched wedding movies until the early morning because there was no way I was going to be able to sleep. Everyone was at the salon on time and everything was super smooth getting ready. Then when we got back to the house, I saw the AMAZING bouquets and the photographers came and started taking a zillion pictures. The time when we got back to my house to when we left for the church was a whirlwind!

The ceremony was amazing! When the doors opened and I saw DH all teary eyed all I could do was smile, and I don't think I could stop the whole time. The poor guy was so nervous and emotional, it was just too cute. When the priest finally pronounced us husband and wife it was the weirdest feeling something I totally cannot explain but I don't think I've ever been so happy. Seeing all of my friends and family there so happy and emotional was also something I will never forget.

The weather through all of this was perfect, not too sunny and hot, just perfect. We then went to Kleinberg to take pics which I'm sure are going to be amazing as our photographers were unbelievable and I cannot say enough good things about them. They were going to crazy lengths to take pictures, even stopping traffic and shooting on the road a few times.

The other highlight of the night was when got back to hall and saw the INDESCRIBABLY STUNNING decor that our decorator had done in the hall. From this point on the day I didn't have to worry about a single thing, our AMAZING and possibly saintly, day of coordinator Crystal from Distinct Occasions took care of every conceivable detail and our day would not have been half as wonderful if it wasn't for her. The hall and their staff were amazing, we even had our own personal server for the bridal party during pictures and the receiving line. Dinner was delicious, what I could eat of it, and the DJ was perfect. He understood exactly what we wanted and the dance floor was NEVER empty. Honestly, it really was the best party I've ever been to I don't think I've ever had so much fun in my life. For our kissing game we had tables sing songs about love, but instead of sappy songs people just started making up all these hysterical ones. Later on in the evening the bridal party surprised me by recreating the scene from Top Gun and singing "you've lost that loving feeling.". And finally, my BM/cousin who is an unbelievable singer decided spur of the moment to sing "I'll Be" for us. The whole night was just so special.

Anyways...I realize that this whole post is totally disjointed and doesn't really make sense but hopefully I can write a better one with a vendor review when we come back from our honeymoon next Sunday. Maybe I'll make up for it with tonnes of pics!
