Can you go out in the sun with a tube top or strapless bikini on when you're on days off to try and even your tan out? Might help...then you can get a spray tan to fill things in.

I was thinking (dangerous, I know, lol!)... if most of my skin matches, with the straps area a bit lighter, could a foundation or something be applied to even it out? Or am I way off base here?I had white spots at the top of my shoulders from the tank tops I wore all summer (my dress wasn't strapless) and even though I tanned (which did even everything out) it didn't get rid of those white spots. My make up artist just put some bronzer on the spots and they were gone. Oh, and I got married Aug25 of last year, after working 40+ hours a week outside ALL summer. Ok, sounds good. That'll be the last resort! Thanks!

| i'm in the SAME boat as u!! scared as heck about tan lines for my strapless dress.. my solution: 100 minutes at the taning at the salon.. i dont have to go for very long because i'm like snow white... so I just go for 3 minutes in the standup tanner only a few times a week! I'm hoping for the best because its JUST not practical to lather up in sunscreen EVERY time u walk outside to grab the newspaper lol

The spray tan places that just put you in a booth aren't as good as the ones where someone is actually spraying you. When I did it, I just wore my "laundry panties" and a strapless bra. The lady said more often than not, the women she spray tans just go naked. I was a little more modest I guess  you could go topless (I'm just thinking you might look funny on your honeymoon if your bra is alot different than your bikini. If anyone else is looking at doing this for your wedding, I think its great. but make sure the place/person that is doing it for you is reputable. Also, exfoliate the night before, but don't put lotion or anything on (its so hard, but its worth it for a nice tan, trust me!!). I wasn't allowed to shower for 12 hours after, so if you do this, make sure you do it on a thursday afternoon or evening, and then shower friday morning. After you shower for the first time, it evens out and looks its absolute best! then I'd say by sunday, use a good exfoliant and a silky shower cream, and scrub it all off ETA...just to add belts...when I say "i'll go with you" I don't mean like in the room with you...I mean I'll go get a spray tan as well....I don't want anyone thinking I'm a big perv or something....well any MORE people thinking that I guess

| LMAO Jen! So, you're not going to be in the roon, criticizing the sprayers technique? Marie - I know what you mean! I do use sunscreen and such, but I inherited really tannable skin from my dad, so it sometimes seems like I think about the sun, and my skin goes a shade lighter, LOL!
