Well, I spoke too soon about Connor's sleeping. Maybe a half hour this morning and I just spent the last 2 trying to get him to go to sleep. Overtired baby = baby who won't sleep. Anyway, he's asleep now. So, as you can see, Muscles, I still don't have him sleeping all that great. But, I'm told that it will happen. Eventually. Maybe. Please?

Corinna, have fun at your shower! I'm sure you're right about it, it does sound a little funny.

Mmm... wine tastings...

Chris spoke with chicky at the bank and it is my car loan they want closed off, but what's going to happen is that it will be consolidated into our mortgage payment. We decided to close Chris' off too.  If we get a house around that $230 range, we will actually be paying less than we do now a month, so that's good.

Chris also called the agent for that house. It doesn't have a back yard. It has a raised deck off the kitchen and under that is a bit of a walkway, then it just slopes down into a ravine. So... we have to decide how important a yard is to us, and it is pretty important. I'd like to be able to open the door for the kids and say "go play" and not worry about them falling into a ravine! Anyway, we are going to start looking for a place so we can soon say "FTFP (fcuk this fcuking place) instead of complaining about TFP all the time!

I guess that the big thing to consider (to me, an outsider who is getting used to short-term places) is how long you intend to be there.  If it's only a couple of years, you probably could make do without a backyard, since Connor will still be young enough that you wouldn't be letting him outside unsupervised for very long anyways.  If you're planning to be there 5-10 years then yes, it's a dealbreaker.  Just a thought!

Good news Sherri!!  Yeah, of course you would want a back yard. I feel the same way and I don't have kids.

It's finally 1pm.  My boss is leaving to meet with the company's owner at 2pm to give him some papers and renewal sticker for his car.  I think I may actually take advantage of that couch today, I never did yesterday.  I'm having a real hard time functioning today.
