Morning ladies! Today I'm feeling better still sad, but much better.

Trav and I are considering getting another kitten soon because Mahrea looks like she's falling into a depression. It makes me sad seeing her all lethargic and pouty. I know she'll want nothing to do with the kitten in the beginning, but at least it'll bug/annoy her enough to hopefully bring her out of her sad state.

Well, I just found out not 2 minutes ago my eldest bro got married yesterday... They were going to get married at the justice of the peace on August 2nd and throw a backyard reception right afterward (I was doing their wedding cake). How I found out was that my new sil posted it on facebook... Thanks for letting us all know. I don't get along with my eldest bro, but I do like his g/f (errr wife) and well of course my neice I love to death! Hey, I can understand maybe not wanting anyone when getting married, but to not even tell us?! They were just going to get married by themselves anyways on the 2nd.. Oh well.

Sleep training does suck Sherri! If this method seems too harsh on you or Connor pick up the book "The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems: Sleeping, Feeding, and Behavior--Beyond the Basics from Infancy Through Toddlerhood" by Tracy Hogg. It actually worked really well on Oli for some time, but he's a stubborn one and didn't want to do it that way anymore. It does involve some crying, but it's much easier to handle because you're right beside them. He's might be too young to do the controlled crying method because he might not have that mental connection that if you go away you're coming back. That connection comes around 6-10 months of age where they understand "Well, Mommy has left, but I know she'll come back to me". I tried it a couple times before and I couldn't do the controlled crying method on Oli until he was 11 months because he would cry so hard he would puke. Now, that he's older I can do it and it does work for him. Just something to consider if it's not working out just yet.

hi odds!

i had an amazing vacation! i'm working on the pics right now so i'll let you know when they're up

we started in halifax, spent two days there (went to pier 21 and the maritime museum, walked around, ate, hung out) , then off to cape breton for two days to do the cabot trail (we saw a moose! on canada day!) then to PEI for nearly two days (met the odds), then back to halifax for two days to meet beth (mrs sixer) and went to a redneck pig roast! so much fun!

off to catch up!

Morning, Akasha had a fever and UTI, so they shot some fluids into her and gave her a temporary humpback to be absorbed.  They also did blood work, did a urine test and issued her some pills.

$407!!!!!!!!

All I can say is thank god for pet insurance!

She was feel okay by the end of the night and is much better this morning.

Wear a white wedding dress?  Why, are we bar hopping?
