| If you are having readings for your ceremony, who is doing them and how many are you having? Aunts, friends, Moms, Dads, etc. We haven't decided on any readings for sure yet, but I know I want one to be read by one of my close aunts. List yours!

FH and I originally agreed not to have any, but then I kind of changed my mind There was one about friendship that I absolutely adored and would have a close friend read it because I'm not really close with anyone outside my immediate family since we've always lived so far away from them...Anywho, I changed my mind again and we agreed to have a short ceremony with only the necessary components, so I've decided to include the reading in the program so people can at least read it on their own time. So it's a win-win situation!

We are doing the big church wedding at FH's Catholic church, so we will have 2 readings (done by my best friend and my godfather), the gospel (by the deacon) and the Prayer for the Faithful (done by FH's godmother). At our reception, FH's godmother's husband will say a blessing for us (his "stand-in" godfather since her husband was his godfather and passed away when he was young) Sounds like a lot, but we kept them short
Now Mrs. H!

| We were also married in the Catholic church. Dh's roomie from university did one reading and a good friend (who is a lector in our parish but I also sing with her in our church choir) did the second reading and prayers of the faithful.

I plan to ask a very close friend and one of my nieces to do readings... they are those who were "bridal party candidates" but I had to draw the line somewhere. I want to include them with a special role.
Marrying my love, on Sept 20/08... with our children at our side.
