| We are taking what we are calling our real honeymoon to Greece/Turkey - Minos Magic tour. It has a 4 day cruise as part of the trip with stays in Athens/Santorini and Crete. Has anyone taken this type of trip for their honeymoon? If anyone has any tips or suggestions, would love to hear them.

| I am taking a 7 day cruise around the Greece/Turkey area in early October. If you have never cruised before you may find its not as restful as one would think. Most times the boat will arrive very early at the destination and excursions may start at 8 am so you can arrive back in time for lunch. This was the big killer for me when I went to the Carribean as I am not a morning person. Don't over pack. The rooms are very small! The love boat its not, unless you take a very expensive cruise line. Do your research in advance about the islands you are heading to, to determine if you want to take the overpriced excursions or head out on your own with a taxi. Ensure you leave plenty of time to return to the ship. If you are late they will leave without you. My guess is you are taking the cruise with Louis cruise lines, which I am as well. I am not expecting much compared to the larger ships I have been on. Consider the boat as your taxi to wonderful places. Enjoy your trip, it will be a wonderful time for the both of you.

| Thanks Heather for the tips. You are right we are cruising with Louis cruise lines. Our crusie time is only 4 days so hopefully the trip won't feel too hectic. We have been warned that if you have cruised the Carribean, don't expect the same standards for the Greece cruise. Fortunately we haven't crusied so we don't have a certain level of expectation. I can't wait!
