so...where do I start?? I think i've missed aunt flo's visit this month...pretty sure I have actually...was supposed to have gotten a visit on the 18th or 19th ...it's now the 23rd. Did any of you ladies "feel" like you were preggers? What did you feel?  I haven't gone to get the hpt yet because dh is convinced we're counting wrong and i'm not pregnant...i don't know if he's convinced or in denial really.  weird this is (and here's where comes tmi)  dh decided it would "help move things around" if we had sex last night...so we did, and there was blood...and a pretty good amount too...but then when I wiped after going to the washroom...there was nothing, and that's what's been happening for the past few days.  I feel like I'm getting it (sore nipples, cramps, etc) but nothing.  Then today there's a TINY bit of brown discharge...kinda had to "dig" for it...could it be that my cycle is just changing or does it sound like I'm preggers?

I know someone's going to tell me to get the HPT and I will...eventually...I'm just too nervous to see it's answer.  I've heard that a woman can "tell" if she is or not....and I can honestly say that I don't think I am, however what's making me doubt myself is the fact that I'm not getting more of the discharge that normally comes before aunt flo's visit... HELP!!!!!!!!!!! And again, sorry for TMI

When you talk about the blood you had during sex ... was it bright red blood? It could have been irritation of the vaginal/uteran walls if he was a bit more "forceful" with his thrusting.  Usually, brown discharge is old blood that just didn't get passed in time and collected and sat around and is now considered old blood. It could also be implantation bleeding, but usually, implantation bleeding is never bright red (hence, why I asked above if it was bright red blood you had) - implantation bleeding is typically brown and slightly pink and nothing more than mere spotting as opposed to a full on bleed. However, everyone is different and some women experience what they think is a period around implantation time and thus think they never missed a period.  Hard to say, I'm not a doctor or anything.

I know you said you will eventually get an HPT - but realistically, get one asap and do it so you can put your mind at ease and know you are not pregnant  or come to terms with a pregnancy if you are. It's the only reliable way of knowing other than seeing your doctor for blood work.

Well I don't know about bright red...but it certainly wasn't dull or anything, and it wasn't brownish pink ... it was blood. 

I've been under a bit of stress, but i've also been trying to work out...which is more then usual...so I thought that  maybe my body is adjusting to that... but the fact that when I wipe...there's nothing...scares me.

Don't get me wrong dh and I LOVE children, and do evenually want one...but I just don't feel ready right now... anyway...I just want my period lol
