Hey Ladies

I was just wondering what you kinds of gifts that you bought for your parents and new in laws.... FH and I don't want to spend a lot of money on them but we also want them to be nice...

Any ideas would be great!

I had monogrammed handkerchiefs done for my Mom, Dad and MIL.

I ordered them from: http://www.ffcembroidery.com/  They were very prompt and very reasonable.

I got my Brother (our MC) a customized Crown Royal bottle label.  This could also work for your Dad or FFIL:

We did gift baskets for each couple (both sets of parents are divorced with new spouses/partners).  The decorator/florist/cake person did them as part of our package.  They also catered the day-after breakfast (so nice to streamline!).

We presented them at the rehearsal dinner.

We made sure to do studio shots with each family and framed those as gifts at Christmas.

For my parents for a thank you gift we gave them a bottle of wine, will be taking them for lunch and will give them a framed family photo we took at our engagement party as well as a photobook from the engagement party. For FH's parents we're doing framed family portraits.

You could also do a night in a hotel; gift card for a dinner out; spa for mom;

That's all I can think of off hand.
